I need to slow down my work?

I recently received feedback that I rush too much too much in my work. We live in a society where speed seems to be praised. This is something i have struggled with most of my life and need concrete ideas of how to constructively do so. I have tried numerous strategies but still seem inclined to be "fast and efficient", even though the accuracy sometimes fall short, or understanding of what was needed falls short.

Open to any ideas...or listening to those who struggle with the same challenge.

Do your work at your normal pace. Make an effort to notice how long it takes. Then, take at least 25% of that time to review your work again. Even better if you can put the work aside for a bit and spend that 25% review time later with fresher eyes.
