Simple question- Normal price of bulk .22 lr?
I've always just gone straight for the CCI mini mags (sticks of 100) because they are high quality and that's what my store normally carries. But I recently heard that bulk packs (500-550 rounds) are like under $30 retail? Since I havent ever purchased one and they obviously arent in stock here, I was just wondering about the brand, number of rounds, and price of different bulk packs that may be available. I'm looking for walmart prices especially. Thanks!
RETAIL prices, meaning a price I might find at walmart. Not some gouger at a gun show.

For Federal 550 round bulk packs: About 10 years ago, Walmart had them for $9.96. Then they went up to $11.96 and then up to $14.96 They are now $19.96 at Walmart, but I have not seen any in stock in the last 6 months at any Walmart in our area.

Before the ammo scare? On sale for 7-10$/brick of 550
Now? I still see stores selling bricks for 80$ or more.

I don't know. Just the other day, I saw a store selling 50-round boxes of .22LR for almost $12 apiece. This was just ordinary Remington and CCI stuff.

Before Obama was selected president again it was at around $14 a brick. Before Obama was selected the first time it was $8 a brick.

Usually, local gun shows are the best places to buy bulk ammo at the best prices.
