Laser abolation of benign duodenal neoplasmic GOO?

First, I've got dudenal GOO and my doc wants to do a bypass as serial balloon dilation hasn't been effective and I'm living on Ensure.

Why can't the laser remove my obstructive ulcer, just as is done for colon polyps?

I had a monster colonic polyp removed with no problems, so why not the ulcer?

Second, is anyone aware of a university or clinic or doctor that is doing laser abolation for neoplasm removal?

Many do laser work to control bleeding but bleeding is not present.

Update:

PLEASE NOTE that bleeding is NOT an issue, I am only interested in removal of the ulcer.

If laser treatment was effective for this condition they would do just that. Since that's not an option, you need some other form of treatment..
