Bait for common paper wasps?
I have a trap for yellow jackets but have more of a problem with paper wasps (PW) than anything else. I can use the same trap for either, depending on the bait used. I'm unclear on exactly what type of bait to use for the PW. I've heard some old meat or fruit, but I don't know for sure what to use.
Your help is appreciated.

Wasps are carnivorous. Rotten meat will work. You can also get rid of them mid air by using a spray bottle with ice water and dish soap. Put it on mist not spray. It knocks them right out of the air and you can either put soap on them or step on them with your shoe.
