Audis are reliable. I have one and it’s a great car.

    "any advice?"

Yeah. DON'T, unless you have lots of money.

It all depends what you want to use it for . If you will travel 40 km a day ,like to work ,it is not a good idea to get that car even if it cost only $1000 .For that better take honda or toyota . If you are a boy who will use it to score easier with girls than buy audi .

If you can afford it, you can buy anything you want. Any ten year old car could be a problem.

Thinking about it is as far as you’re likely to get.

Once you’ve had quotations for insurance for a young driver with that car you’ll start looking for a cheap old low performance beater with minimum insurance cover. Something like an old Toyota Corolla or a Honda Fit.

Also Audi/VW really aren’t very reliable cars, and BMW are even worse, and that gets to be a far bigger problem as they get older, even if they have been maintained correctly. But they are also expensive to repair, especially so if you live outside of Europe. Ten year old Toyotas and Hondas can also be dogs if they have been poorly maintained, so take the time to search for one with an excellent maintenance record.

German cars can be a pain to fix but work well.

They are expensive to work on anything with those, a used one wouldn't be a good idea. I would suggest a Ford or Chevy, they aren't as expensive to work on but they're alot better built and last longer than those so called luxury vehicles.
