What car brands are luxury but moderately priced ( under 50k ) ?

forget it. get one of the least expensive new cars available. like a hyundai accent or toyota corolla. you have obviously never driven a new car, so something that you're going to have to learn the hard way is that cars get damaged. people are going to change lanes in front of you and you will end up with rock chips in your hood, fenders, and windshield. someone is going to ding your doors in parking lots. maybe its late one night and there is a tree or bush sticking out into the road and you scrape against it. maybe you get rock chips and they start to flake off and rust. it's impossible to keep cars in perfect condition. go watch a youtube video about fixing rock chips. half the time they're fixing rock chips in a 300,000 dollar ferrari or audi r8. rocks dont care how expensive your car is, neither do tree branches, or other people in parking lots. 

it's better to get an inexpensive car that you dont care about. that way when the inevitable damage occurs, it's not the end of the world.

I would NEVER get a car THAT PRICEY< but there are GREAT USED AUDI and BMW xDrive cars on CARS.COM and CARGURUS for WAY under 410! TRY THEM !My LAST two cars came from CARGURUS a for under $$k! They were BOTH OLDER BENZ CARS and LOTS of class and CHEAP insurance too! BRAKE pADS only $15 and $25! SUPERB road feel and worth EVERY CENT PAID! >>I just DROOL when I see all the BARGAINS for USED EURO CARS on CARS.com and CARGURUS from ALL different YEARS and ALL Possible COLORS as well! Wish I had a TEN CAR GARAGE! LOL! BENZ CONVERTIBLE SUPERCAHRGED roadsters for under $8K as WELL! GREAT CARS made to last for THIRTY + years!  a warranty to 500,000 MIELS as well! 

Lexus ES 350, RC, and RX at that price range. Feels like you're sitting in a $100k car. 

Genesis. I've owned Audi and a couple of Lexus vehicles, but switched to Genesis and never looked back -- top quality, reliability, luxury, and safety -- at much lower cost. I'm on my second G80 Sport now, and will get the new GV80 SUV next year. You might like the G70. 

I suggest you take the time to go look at and drive all the vehicles you are considering and make your own choice rather than depending on the opinions of others.
