What do you call it when multiple cultures come under one?

So for example when you go to Disney Land despite South America being made up of many countries they generalise it in to being Mexico.

Same with Asia, they only show China.

Is there a name for this?

Too lazy to realize that China and Mexico don’t represent all Asian and Latin American nations. Kind of the way the word “ Anglo” has come to represent every nonHispanic White person in America...though they come from many different countries in Europe and not all are Anglo-Saxon, though they speak a form of the English language and a lot of our culture comes from England.

The closest term I can think of would be amalgamation.
