How to repair the compass on my 2008 Chevy Impala?
The compass which has been working fine is not working and shows "CAL."
I read the manual and attempted tight turns under 5 mph but the compass still will not calibrate.
What can I do or just take it to my mechanic?
Re-set.

GO toa GM dealer if you canFIND ONEM and let them RESET It for you! The MANUAL nay be a bit CONFUSING abt out the RESET! GOODLUICK and nexgt time get an AUDI or FORD!

Leave it alone. Not worth repairing. You can get by with it broken. Put a compass app in your cell phone and you are done fixing.
