I don't understand. It is irritating, at the least, to have to fill out pages pages and pages of personality questions (such as: "Do you get irritated?" or "I have have never been late to work before."), and then never get called for an interview, nor more than an acknowledgement of survey completion. I recall having filled out 19 pages of surveys for one company--no call back!

Who is going to speak the truth and say they have been late, or that they get angry? If they do, are they rewarded with an interview? After all, these are not essay questions, where I am permitted to include the nature of a particular circumstance where I may have gotten angry.

It feels very Nazi like, and unfortunately, not as efficient. Why would I want to work for someone who has no respect for 100+ potential employees time?

In a bad economy, shouldn't companies be expected to respect their potential candidate's time?

Toyota Camry 1996 . Needs this to keep the car on the road. Any ideas how or where to go to save money on this? Is there a place you'd recommend?

I have a samsung flight II that I hate. I want to get rid of it, since I can barely use it. I touch the screen, and it behaves erratic.

I want something more conventional, that almost "everyone" knows is good, but under $125.

I prefer:

-Touchscreen that doesn't act up

-Mp3 player

-good wifi, but allows me to cancel data plan (I don't use a data plan)

-makes and receives calls easily with or without touchscreen. right now I keep scrolling through the phonebook, and it seems to take forever since I keep bypassing the name; when I get the contact I have to use touchscreen to make the call, and it dials the wrong person, or asks me if i wish to delete the contact.

Essentially, the phone needs a great user interface.

We are looking to convert our backyard (approx 120 ft by 150 ft rectangle) into a homestead farm. We need to figure out what type fencing is most affordable and durable. Not considering electric fencing.

We can divide the homestead into two portions, which would be 120 ft x 75, OR would you recommend a different division?

I am looking for a cheap fixer upper, in a university type town; I am in California, but prices don't go much lower than $50,000 here. I have seen one in Urbana-Champaign, IL area for $10,000 on Trulia.

Do you know anything about finding property anywhere in the USA... preference to a busy university town, or state capital; for example, West Valley City, UT is good because it is close to Salt Lake City.

Likewise, if you know of any areas that are populated where housing can be rented out at $600 per month comfortably, clue me in :)

My neighbors across the street are very friendly, but they start the day and end it with long mantras. As I fall asleep I get this weird numbing feeling, and get energy sucked out of me. I try to turn on catchy songs to shut of the annoying noise but sometimes I am too late--it starts while I am asleep in the morning. Once the mantra turns on it is like a haunting moaning loop for at least 60 minutes each time, and my mind goes a little weird.

I don't have this kind of a problem with listening to Jewish/Muslim/Christian chants, or music.

This feeling is NOT the kind you get when listening to catchy lyric (like "i can't you outta my head".)

My question is a few parts:

1) How do you make a proposal that gets accepted... how do you word it?

2) The home is on 1/2 acre, in West Valley, UT. It is an OLD home, built in the 1940s. Barely had any maintenance done on it.

3) Will depreciation over the next few years, make it cheaper to wait?

The house price is lowered to $120,000, but the seller won't go lower.

How do I convince the seller to lower the price if it is too high?

Finally, how do I know if the house is any good? How do I get someone to look at it and assess its structural problems (foundation, leaks, roof lifespan etc.)

Craigslist has tons of people seeking to buy reliable cars on installment... seems a world of ease to give someone the keys with some sort of contract, and they deposit the money into your account monthly until it is done.

How to do this easily? And NOT get ripped off?

My new CD player is from another car--a 2005 Camry. I'd like very much to install it into my 1996 Camry, but the new one is bigger than the old one, which was installed with a dash kit. Since I don't need the dash kit for this bigger one, when I slide it into the dash it stops short, because the new radio has a lip!

This new one is HUGE, and slides in all the way, except for the very front (at the faceplate), which won't go in. What am I doing wrong?

Should I strip my car and resell it in parts, or just fix and sell it? How can I make the most money on it? I need the cash.

What kind should I get? Would my ordinary drill work to drill into brick? What kind of saw should I get?

I have succulents, fruit trees, and some herbs. I have a lot, but have no market plan. Can someone point me in the right direction? I know I can grow a lot of plants in my garden!
