1 Answer7 days agoHow do art schools/studios detect plagiarism for digital art in Photoshop?
Let's say you're given an assignment or work requirement to create some sort of character model or character design in Photoshop from scratch. How can they tell if you didn't just copy a character model from google or someone else's photoshop file that you found online that has all the layers saved, etc

1 Answer2 weeks agoCould someone help me find this one artist on DeviantART?
I remember back in high school (probably 2015-2016), I used to look at art of adoptables, and I want to find one of the artists that was my favorite in terms of the art. There's one particular adoptable pair that's been on my mind recently, but the most frustrating part is that I can't remember the name. Hopefully, if I describe what I remember, someone can help me find them?
The art was basically a guy and a girl, with bones as some of their accessories. The main colors were blue, red, I believe some purple, and black. There was also a theme of card suits, and they may have had bone tails as well. I can't remember if they were vampire or zombie adoptables. The girl had her hair in a high ponytail, had a short dress, and was on the left. I can't remember many details about the guy, however.
Any help is appreciated!!
2 Answers2 weeks agoWhat do you think of this artwork? What makes it bad or good?
It's probably pretty awful but what is it exactly that makes it awful? I mean the face, not the composition, which I put zero thought into. I personally sort of like the face, but I have a bias since I made it. How can I make it less awful and possible sell-able? I am not going for a very realistic face. It is meant to be stylized, or semi-realistic, sort of like Picasso who did not create realistic portraits.
I would like to become a portrait artist and sell my work one day. I plan on taking art classes (which I obviously need desperately) after the pandemic ends but for now I have to rely on deviantart and Y!A and deviantart is useless. Any help is greatly appreciated.
