  • Can I profit off of my babies first words being "McDonalds"?

My baby is seven months old and has been a talker (well makes a lot of sounds) for what feels like longer. He has said the common sounds "mama" and "dada" but the other day he said very clearly "McDonalds". I have no video or audio proof, but could I profit off this in anyway? I know some people in the news get cars for naming their kid after some brand. So what can I ask for?

    Thanks Yahoo and MBMBaM

  • Am I overthinking this? Husband and son?

So my partner and baby father  (we haven’t had sex in 6 months my son turned a year old) and on my sons first birthday I was sleeping in bed with my son (he preferred sleeping with my while I breast feed then crib) my partner while son was sleeping iniciated sex. Of course with the rocking of the bed son woke up and was smiling being cute- as my partner continued to have sex with me he was kissing son. When son tried to breast feed it got too much to be having sex and breast feed so I put son in play pen- when I looked down at my son he was totally just staring at me and dad having sex which felt wrong so I turned around- now I’ve been feeling guilty and wrong. Was this wrong and disgusting?

  • What are the disadvantages of breast-milk pumping?

Risk of infection, and loss of vitality are the minor disadvantages. Loss of intimacy is the biggest disadvantage, I see. The mother-child bonding is totally absent. Physical touch and cuddling also makes a difference to the babies growth, I'd imagine. Not to talk of the impact of the mother’s voice and touch.

Why even give birth to a baby if you can’t take proper care of it?

Or why even bother to pump out your milk, breast milk is available for sale in the internet. Or you have surrogate mothers to do the job for you. Do you think these are feasible options?

  • What is the baby doing? Not responding within my womb?

My baby has been moving. It's only once he responded to me directly by poking eachother from our sides. He has been moving. I haven't constantly kept that up for while since. I understand he's sleeping now. When he was awake he didn't respond trying poking like we did. I'm not sure what position he had to be able to poke back, but it was in the middle. Does that matter? I need to poke else where?

  • Is it normal that my poop is still blue a week after eating blue cake?

This was a dark blue baby shower cake that must have been pumped full of dye. I wasn't worried the first time my poop was blue, but it's still blue after a week.

  • Is my girlfriend a bad mother?  What do I do? ?

So me and my girlfriend got a surprise last year.  A positive pregnancy test. We have a beautiful son.  He’s often fussy but he’s just an amazing little guy.  Anyways.  I work during the day to support all of us and she stays home with the baby. She breastfeeds so there’s a big plus.  And she’s a pretty cool girl in general. But she has zero patience with the baby. As I said he is often fussy but I’m convinced at this point it’s because he’s still hungry.  She only feeds him maybe 5-10 minutes at a time. And as soon as I get home she sets him in my lap and disappears to the bedroom until bedtime. When me and the baby come to bed, only feeding him when I insist there is nothing more I can do to settle him down. Now we’ve hit a point where, because we took him to the hospital one night when he would not stop crying and she insisted he wouldn’t eat. . . The doctors found nothing wrong wth him but gave him infant Tylenol just in case. Now she wants to give him Tylenol all the time.  He has a perceived dairy and soy intolerance (Mostly because that’s the default for fussy babies who are fed enough and his diapers are a bit slimy) and she continues eating dairy and soy.  Now I can’t keep letting her feed our baby Tylenol when he’s crying because honestly I think he is just starving (He’s 5 months old now and needs to eat more)  when I imply his problem is that he is hungry she threatens to leave me. I don’t want to lose him over it but I also need to keep him safe. Serious advice?
