I think my high blood pressure is damaging my kidneys. Should I go to the doctor?

    It is more likely to give you a heart attack or stoke, depending on your age. If it is persistently high, see a doc for medication.

    Yes, if you truly have chronic hypertension, if left untreated it will damage the blood vessels involved in the functional units of your kidneys, & if you truly have chronic hypertension, getting it treated will enhance your health & well being & prolong your life.

    Yes, because kidney damage is rarely reversible.  Prolonged High blood pressure also causes eye, brain, heart damage and impotence.

    You could post a picture of a scan of your kidneys on social media and ask for opinions.  This would be cheaper than going to an actual doctor.  The only downside is that most of the people advising you would be trolls without a medical degree.
