Why isn't there a single hotel that accommodates travelers needing a quick stay outside standard check in/out times like for truckers USA?

It's 9am, and I just need a place to sleep for my 10 hour break, then I'll have to get moving again. Yet, if I wait till 3pm to check in, I'd only get 4 hours to sleep before I need to start driving again. I'm just going to sleep in the driver's seat, but it got me wondering, why hasn't one single hotel chain cashed in on what has to be a huge market of people who just need short stays that fall outside regular check-in and out times?

They have. My daughter is on a temporary traveling nurse assignment. She works nights, and has found a hotel that allows check ins at 9, with check out at 5. Actually, she found 3 hotels in her area with day rates. Have you googled?

IF a Hotel or motel has an available room you can check in AT ANY TIME in your situation you ask for the "DAY" rate. You can expect a reduced rate if you depart your room early enough for them to clean it for overnight use.

    Has been available for decades.
