I hired an awful wedding photographer. he's trying to make it big int he wedding circle but i want to warn other brides of his awful work. Can i take out a full page ad in a wedding magazine ? Can he sue me for libel or slander? I am just threatening to do it but might just do it if he doesnt give me my money back.

My husband claims he quit smoking but when he comes home, he has cleaned his hands with purell and is eating very strong mints. I can smell cigarette smoke but he says i am imagining it. Is there some test that can prove he is smoking. I know there are urine tests on ebay but that means i gotta make him do them..

Is there somethign like a piece of paper that turns red when touched by a smoker/ Or something liek that? I know it sounds kooky. Maybe someone should invent something!! Im sure parents of rebellious kids would love it!!

My son is potty training and we have carpet. i ahve put towels down in a lot do places but he's still amanged to pee on the carpet an d one day poop (I KNOW YUCKKKK!!!!)

What is the best way to clean it up? I want to be sure its disinfected as well as odor-free. I wish I cud bleach it but its not possible with carpet! What can I use? Or what can I do to clean it? I do have a shampooer which I use after i soak it up with paper towels.

I hired a free photographer for my son's birthday. A young guy who had an expensive camera and wanted experience in order to do weddings. I am a makeup artist so told him if things worked out well with my son's birthday, I would refer him to my bridal clients. I found him on craigslist where he was advertising FREE PHOTOGRAPHER FOR HIRE. My son's birthday was March. He uploaded the pictures to a website where people could buy prints ad told us he would amil us a CD with all the images. I never got the CD. June i emailed him asking him for the CD. He sent me an email saying his mother had just died from cancer and he was in chicago and my CD was the last thing on his mind. I sent him an email apologising, saying I didnt realise and my condolences. I sent him another email requesting the CD in Setpember. No response. I've called him - left voicemails. he won't return my calls. Is there anything I can do to get my pics back? He's taken them off the site too. Suggestions?

I am trying to set up a portable makeup station in ym home. I am a makeup artist who works from home. But I dont have a spearate room to work from. I use my living room. the day time lighting is great but at night its awful. I want to set up vitalite fluorescent lights but i need them to be removabe. i live in a rental so it cant damage the walls. anyone have suggestions? a light on a stand? Or a tube that i can hang from my blinds? my livingroom is kinda open plan. one wall is all glass and the opposite side is the dining table. 3rd side has the tv and opposite is the sofa. I have a corner that has a fireplace and mirror above it. It has a mantelpiece which I think I can put the lights under. Its about 5' high.

I hired a photographer for my brother's wedding reception and he didnt turn up. Instead he sent a guy who we had used for the engagement and HATED!! He didnt call or anythign to say he wasnt coming, he just sent ths other awful photographer.

We saw te pics yesterday and they are awful. The colors are wrong. The makeup looks weird, there are some awful poses. There are no pics of the guests or even that many of the famly. There is not a single photo of my son - the bride and groom's only nephew/ringbearer.

I amn't sure what to do about it. The pics are awful quality too. They look like someone took them on their mobile phone. Severeal guests at the wedding took pictures and they turned out AMAZING. The bride looked stunning. But in the "professional" pics she looks ODD. This was the first boy's wedding in my family in 30years and our family is very upset. Can I sue the photographer or make him pay for rehiring of kilts and redoing makeup and he can redo the whole shoot??

My friend has an abusive husband who she wants to divorce. She met him in Pakistan and he has turned abusive since he received his leave to stay. Can the Home Office deport him and if so how does she go about it? He has physically and mentally abused her and she has had 5 miscarriages because of it.

He has told her she cant throw him out and he will take her house and everything else - which she boguht before she married him

Any advice or who would be a good person to speak to? Recommendations? Much appreciated. THANK YOU!

i was stopped in traffic in a rental car becase my car got totalled last week. So i took my foot off the brake - an automatic car which i dont normally drive and I bumped the car in front.

The woman refused to move her car or get out. So i motioned her to move and then went and asked her if she was ok. she said 'her neck hurt!" I cudnt believe it. She asked me how badly damaged her car was. i told her there was nothing - which there wasnt. i had a red dodge and she had a champagne gold toyota. She got out and said that cant be possible "you hit me so hard" She claimed I had damaged soemthing under/ inside her car. i told her no way. The bumper had a silver scratch on it. MY CAR IS RED. Anyways I gave her my number and drivers license and no insurance details as i didnt know them. The car was insured through the rental company. I left and now she is calling me telling me to pay for the damage. Can i ignore her? I have warned rental co. nothing on my rental car. No scratch. Nada.
