Hi! I just took a home pregnancy test which came out negative. It's one from Boots with a control window and another where the result comes up. A cross in the results window means positive and a single line means negative.

I only have a single line but it is quite thick and extremely dark, much darker than the control window. I have looked through the leaflet that it came with, and tried to google, but all anyone seems to talk about are faint or dark positives, not negatives. Also, just to clarify- there is not even a hint of a second line. I was just wondering whether this is normal (first time tester) or whether it means there is something wrong with this one and I should go out and get another to make sure this first one was accurate. One of the reasons I am unsure is that the control window and the results window appear to be the wrong way round on my test (according to the pictures on the package and leaflet).

I have decided to start a podcast reviewing new film releases. My question is, if I include certain audio clips of the ads for movies is that copyright infringement? I have been trying to read up on it to find out but I am confused. I think it may fall under fair use because it's technically ''commentary'' on the films but I am really not sure.

Say for example the vet was about to inject the animal and accidentally jagged himself...what would happen?

I'm trying to work out the name of a film I watched about 10 years ago, most likely on Nickelodeon or the disney channel. I remember that there were two young girls who were friends and they somehow managed to get a magic ring from a woman, that granted wishes. some of the things i remember happening is that before the young girls get the ring the woman uses it to make herself look like someone on tv, cos she's like ''oh i wish i had her legs'' and then her legs change and thats how she realises it has powers.

theres also something about the girls using it to get a phone in their room. I know I'm not helping much but I think the woman who first has the ring is either Kathy Baker or someone who looks very like her. But that could just be my memory being wrong as it was a while ago. I think also one girl was blonde and one brunette.

Ok so I have the Sims 2 installed on my computer, and I haven't played it in ages and decided that I wanted to start again. Anyway I got out CD 1 and it is so badly scratched that it wont run in the computer. I know I could obviously download a torrent for the whole game and just use CD 1, but I was wondering if there was something simpler to do since it is already installed. I have heard about no CD cracks for example, but don't know if they would work in this situation because I'm not really sure what they are! Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Once again I have heard from one of my friends that a guy we know used to really want to go out with me, apparently for around 3 months he had a crush. This is maybe the 3rd time that I have heard this (about different people) and quite often I have been flirting with a guy and he has been flirting back, all of the signs are there that he likes me but... nothing happens. So this is a question to the guys... what's going on? If you liked a girl what would put you off asking her on a date. Maybe if I know what stops guys in general I can work out what it is I'm doing that is putting them off.

Now I'm not saying that this is necessarily true for everybody, but as a junky of the biggest loser I've noticed that a lot of them...its like their voice gets higher as they lose weight. I was just wondering what the reason for this is. Is it that the fat is pressing on their vocal chords?

My question is basically just to see whether I have understood correctly. It is my understanding that when we talk about Italy's divided memory of the second world war, what we are talking about is the fact that people remember what they want to, and forget that which they are ashamed of. but now I am thinking that maybe it means divided memory in the sense that one part of the population remembers things one way, and another part remembers things differently. so....which one is it?!

I am at a loss for what books to read, I enjoy romances, forbidden love is usually a good bet, not too much sex although a mention or two is fine, just as long as its not loads cos i feel it kind of cheapens it (for me anyway), modern is usually best with younger protagonists so i can relate, before someone mentions twilight i've read them all so thats out (although i did enjoy them so something in a similar idea is a welcome suggestion). i also like comedy, fantasy, sci fi, thrillers so those themes along with many others would be fine but i like the main theme to be romance, any help much appreciated!

I have been looking online and can only find either american sites which do not let me buy in the U.K. or illegal sites, i checked rbooks, amazon, and waterstones online but none have it, however surely if its available in the U.S. and has been published in hard copy in the U.K. an ebook should be available here as well. Thanks for all help!

I am currently working as an English Language Assistant in Italy and as I am enjoying it have begun considering teaching English as a career. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Italian, and am a native English speaker. I am aware that I could not just turn around tomorrow and get a job as an English teacher in a secondary school here, but I was wondering exactly what qualifications I would need, for example would I need to do an English degree, or simply a post grad in teaching? One of the teachers here told me that in order to teach in Italy you must have got your degree here, but surely that cannot be the case as this would discourage native speakers from teaching here, if it involved another 5 years at University. I would like to clarify that I am talking about teaching English in secondary schools.

I'm at my sisters babysitting and she told me she had lots of films saved on her sky+. I can't work out how to get to them though because I've never used sky+ before! Can someone give me detailed instructions on how to do it please? Thanks xx

I remember seeing a film that I loved when I was younger, and I was sure that it was tarzan but I can't find it. it's pretty much the tarzan story though, quite modern, I would say maybe in the 90's, (it's not the cartoon). I have a feeling that the actress was british with brown hair, and the mowgli type character was foreign maybe phillipino or indian, i'm sure I have seen them both in other films but can't remember who either of them are, and although it is modern it is set in the early 1900s (roughly) I know it's not much to go on but that's why I'm having trouble finding it, I'm just hoping that one of you has seen it and remembers it.
